For those of you that don’t know, it looks like there’s a little game going on within the student body of the Dean Holland Starting with Marketing coaching program. The game involves us creating a blog post listing 25 things about us – however, it looks like you need to have someone who has previously done this to ‘tag’ you. I’m not sure how (or when) this game started.  In fact, if there is anyone that can shed some light on this, please leave your comments below. As it turns out, I have officially been tagged as one of Mike Bush’s 5 victims. Its time to find out just who is this guy?

When visiting the blogs of my fellow classmates, I noticed that there were a few variations of this ’25 Things’ list. Some just listed 25 things. Others listed 25 things that we didn’t know about that person. Some lists got a little racy, while some offered a little TMI. Since I haven’t been able locate any rules to this game, I have decided to list 25 items that are my favourite things in various categories. (Some of you may notice the occasional letter ‘u’ showing up, but that’s how we spell the word in Canada). Here goes:

1. Favourite Colour – Purple

2. Favourite Food – Pizza

3. Favourite Dessert – Cheese Cake

4. Favourite Beverage – Iced Tea

5. Favourite Movie Genre – Suspense/Thriller

6. Favourite Movie – Raiders of the Lost Ark

7. Favourite TV Genre – Reality Shows

8. Favourite TV Show – The Mole

9. Favourite Actor – Jeremy Piven

10. Favourite Actress – Christina Applegate

11. Favourite Music Genre – Rock

12. Favourite Band – Van Halen (DLR Era)

13. Favourite Musical Instrument – Guitar

14. Favourite Author – Stephen Frey

15. Favourite Book – Coma by Robin Cook

16. Favourite Board Game – Balderdash

17. Favourite Indoor Activity – Cooking

18. Favourite Outdoor Activity -Hiking

19. Favourite Sport – Lacrosse

20. Favourite Season – Spring

21. Favourite Month – May

22. Favourite Day of the Week – Thursday

23. Favourite Animal – Tiger

24. Favourite Guilty Pleasure – Watching Infomercials

25. Favourite Thing in the Whole World – spending time with my little girl

There it is folks – my contribution to the ’25 Things’ game. Please leave any comments below.

Would the following SWM students please complete a blog post listing 25 things about them: Dariusz Szyc, Dean Jason, Heather Reh, Edward Rubi and Tammie Hansberger.

Till next time.

    Teddy,
Cool Post! Thanks for participating! Actually, I think this whole thing got started from some of the students of Alex Jeffreys, who are also Dean Holland’ students.
Couple of questions: #17 what type of food do you like to cook? #22 Why Thursday? #24 Watching Infomercials??
#25 How old is your daughter? Just curious, as we raised a daughter, too!

    Mike,
    To answer your questions:
I like to cook anything – as long as I don’t have to follow a recipe.
Thursday because I find that people are in the best mood on this day.
My daughter is 3 months old.
    Thanks for your comments.

    Lisa,
I don’t actually have a favourite thing to cook, but I am known for my lasagna – it seems that my culinary reputation is centered around this dish (at least within my circle of friends). Yes, I do like Mexican food.
Thanks for dropping by. I’m glad you enjoyed the list.

    # 12 Teddy Rocks {Van Halen} Awesome, Being a rebelous countryboy I like to rock. Took wife to Def Leppard, ZZ Top, also my kids love the older rock too so earlier this year I took them and a friend to Motley Crue,Hinder,Theory of a Deadman and had a great time with the kids as it was their first concert and I just wanted to make sure their first was a safe enjoyable experience for them.

    Bob,
Always nice to meet someone with similar tastes. Its quite interesting that you took your kids to see a concert of some of your musical favourites. Its even more amusing that they enjoyed themselves – I’m sure you did too.
Be sure to come back and visit to learn more.

    Dean,
Thank you for your kind words. It really means a lot coming from you.
I feel like things are really starting to click. I guess that’s what happens when you have the right person guiding you.
Looking forward to working with you.

    Ah Teddy,

You’ve been tagged too!! There are no rules about 25things so what you’ve done is just fine. I was tagged by two of Alex Jeffreys’ students and I asked around and I was allowed to tag Dean’s students so I thought it’d be fun to getting us to know each other more. Judging by the comments it seems to be working out just fine :)

I like pizza too especially Dominos. Pizza Hut is kinna out of date and don’t taste as good as they used to for some reason.

You like infomercials?? LOL….don’t they always trying to sell you something?? Or are you trying to learn how they market their products??

    Huddson,
Interesting point you make about infomercials and marketing. I like watching them because I like the different gadgets they try sell. The marketing is only secondary.
Glad you enjoyed my ’25 list’. Be sure to check back to see how I’m doing.

Tim you have great info here.Good content which is what we are all about right now, hopefully the money will come later.Maybe that wasn’t the best thing to say, after all we are trying to help others not just take there money.
One question about the 25 things us,van halen we in the UK have never quite got it.I myself love all music apart from country music, but i don’t get it.I have a double cd greatest hits or something of his, great guitars but for me there’ something missing.Maybe you could recommend something definitive to have a listen to.

    Tom,
As you can see, I’m just trying to take the small steps in this journey to make some money online.
As for a recommendation, I’m not sure what to suggest. Since you already have a Greatest Hits CD, then I’m not quite sure what you could listen to that would fill in what’s missing. Their first album (Van Halen) is what put them on the map. Their sixth album (1984) is what launched them to super stardom. Either of these would be a great intro to this band.
Thanks for dropping by. Be sure to check back to see my progress.

    Hey Teddy,

That’s a different way of doing your list. I like it. A real mixed bag as well. A rock loving reality show watching pizza eating, lacrosse player. Fantastic.

Glad to know a bit more about you!

    Andy,
Thanks for the comment. I never realized what a weird mix of hobbies I have. As for my version of the 25 list, I was merely trying to be different, but still provide some insight into who I am. Glad you enjoyed it.

As the saying goes, “Better late than never”. Thanks for dropping by and leaving your comments.
Its nice to see that you’re busy with things. Sounds like you’ve got things going on the right track.
One question for you – Since you are a big fan of Big Brother, are you happy with who won this year?
